About Us
What is Italy in SF?
Italy in SF is the ultimate directory for everything Italian in the San Francisco Bay Area. Italy in SF is the insider’s guide to learn where Italians go to find the special and unique products, foods, and traditions they were accustomed to in Italy.
Our editorial team is entirely comprised of Italian expatriates who want to share their passion for all that is Italy in the Bay area. From the right old world pizza dough to the best Parma prosciutto, Italy in SF is the quintessential place to look for the best of Italy.
We are still struggling to find a place that carries Mulino Bianco cookies on the West Coast, gramigna pasta (impossible to find!) and the original Nutella (a side-by-side tasting will confirm that the one made from the American market objectively tastes different!). However, we have discovered fabulous prosciutto, sumptuous mozzarella, and some treasured destinations featuring the best gelato, tiramisu & cannoli!
Go ahead, indulge your inner Italian!
