A Package of Goodies!!!

My friend Stefano pointed me to Supermarket Italy, an Italian specialties online retailer. We have often bought from Capri Flavors before, but the problem there are shipping costs. Supermarket Italy is not fast, to be sure, but they ship for a flat fee ($6.99 for order over $50) and they have a pretty good assortments of cookies and other goodies. As I might have let escpae, we’re big fans of Mulino Bianco products, but anything you grew up with is always a treat, no? In our package we had Macine, Tarallucci, Pan di Stelle, Ringo, Oro Saiwa and even Girella!! Yum… Breakfast for the next few weeks all of a sudden sounds amazingly good!

Oh my! Anche gli Oro Saiwa. Vado a dare un’occhiata al sito. Grazie!
I bought from them some months ago, since my son loved Galletti. I didn’t like the way the made the package and they were very slow but gently answered to my complains. I usually buy Galletti and Plasmon through Amazon Prime, fantastic and with just a annual fee.
I am surprised- our package was nothing if not well wrapped, and all of the cookies made it to us whole and in great shape! I had looked for Mulino Bianco on Amazon before, but the prices are not very competitive and I can’t find any listing prime-eligible… in any case, we can all agree there is need for more Mulino Bianco in our lives!
For those of you in the South Bay (San Jose, Los Gatos): you can buy Mulino Bianco biscotti at Lunardi’s supermarkets. They sell 150 grams for about $3.50, so pretty expensive… but a nice treat once in a while.
