Baci!

I have always been thrown off by the cookies for breakfast thing. I would havd loved that as a kid. After 20 years here cookies still seem to be very much an afternoon snack food.
What struck me when I first came here was how the cappuccino experience in the morning is a fast one here, not a sit down and meditate with friends sort of affair.

When I go to Italy, I spend a lot of time in that aisle. I wish I could transport most of it to California. I don't understand why you can find Colussi biscotti in suburbs of Chicago, but not in San Francisco. Maybe you and I should do some marketing.
