Is There More To Review?

I am running low on stamina, as I feel like there aren’t that many more Italian places that are review-worthy. Instead of finding new places, I end up ruling out  more, and after a few bad meals I am not as excited to get to try new places! Am I missing something? What is your favorite Italian place in the Bay Area? Please help me!

These weeks of little new finds have broughtme back to some of my favorite places though. I think I will try a post of all the best of the Bay, Italian-Style! Stay tuned!

  1. Just found your blog – we are kindred spirits.
After visiting Italy on vacation and not wanting to come home, our plan was to move to the Veneto region this year. Due to the economy…we moved to “Sausitano” instead. (I grew up in San Jose, and lived in Portola Valley for the last 20 years)
Sausalito reminds me of Italy, and I just love living by the water. I started to write about some of my “peak” experiences, and my husband encouraged me to publish. I didn’t want to start a blog on my own, but I found oursausaltio.com, and they published my first article on Poggio. I am having fun exploring, taking pictures and writing a little.
I too am usually disappointed in Italian food in restaurants (including Poggio sad to say) – but I did find Tony Tutto’s Pizza in Mill Valley to be exquisite.

I am happy to be a contributor to your website, a friend, or your scout in the North Bay. I am heading to Fish (on your recommendation) today.
